| Editoral from the FISH LADY Thought I offer food for thought. Who are the oldest Bait shops in the Middletown area? Roberson in Posttown is the oldest bait shop. Most, consider it , a gun shop that supports limited live bait and fishing needs for their customers. Listed as a Sporting Goods storenot Bait Shop, still I give it the oldest Shop. Same name, same location, same family. 2nd oldest GO FISH with BirdSeed's Bait A Cat Shop, carries all you need for the "Big Cats". they know how to size the bait and carry enough of it to supply one's fishing trip. 9 years Running 9th year a name change with a new location, but same owners. The old Parkway that was shut down for close to 2 years , was reopened 2 years back, making it the youngest bait shop in the area , while the location is one of the oldest, they cannot claim fame to being the oldest bait shop. But they can claim fame to being the youngest bait shop. Same name, same location, new owner. Just thought one may like to know who the oldest is. Other Bait Shops have been opened but closed due to issues. Its a tough business being seasonal and weather hindered, add personal issues, can takes toll, ending a good shop's life overnight at times. It takes deciation to the fishermen to operate a shop. The owners ,all of them, give their fishing time up to give you yours. I know GO FISH is 24/7 to make sure you can go fish anytime you want. My question now is? | The Fish Lady We eat out alot , due to this fact I feel I have the right to declare myself a expert, on Fast Food. 1. Who has fast food service ? no one. Our lives have gotten so busy that many people have no time to cook at home, no time but to eat the food on the run, or when home; as they are too dang beat to do more then open a bag or box and eat, what ever they thought to pick up. Places are not staffed enough to fill the fast food pace. Now they trying to keep up with the Jones, adding more to the menu, which means more time spent waiting. Reducing the fast food saying to Slow food here, BUT its Fresh Cooked !. Which brings us back to FAST FOOD here, not any more its not. The signs need to say if its fast then its been on a warmer sitting, if its slow its fresh made, sorry you had to wait 10 min or more. 2. Drive thru: Was to make it easier on the inside lines, and better for us and be faster. Instead the Drive thru takes no.1 , walk in your no. 2 you can look at the car you would of been behind and walk it , then you see it and more go thru the Drive thru. How many of you have been told pull up we will run it out? Then they leave you so fast that if the order is not right, you have to get out and walk in to correct it, so much again for service. Did you check the bag? If not then you have no right to complain and you better have your receipt to prove you paid for it . Best part is its all there you get home open it up and find out its not the right food just the count of the bag was right 4 sandwiches but not your 4. 3. Open 24/7 means at least a 25 min wait as they cannot get people to work the shift, so 2 - 3 people are taking orders cooking and filling the orders plus doing all the night time cleaning. 4. We need to slow done and go back to cooking at home , buy a crock pot , get a frozen meal , buy a 30 min and under to eating cook book, will any of us do that , most likely not. Hey, I heard the place on the corner has a special on get one free if you buy 1 , place next to it is 2 for $3 , food deals make it cheaper too then cooking. 5. Then there is the guys that honk the horns cuss you out actaully they are cussing the place out but since their behind you you feel they are cussing you. I had a guy slap his brakes and try to back up cos After he pull off he realized a problem. Instead of parking he gets out blocking me and the line, I tell the staff to take care of him so we can pull out and he comes out and tells me to "bite him" cos I complained on his blocking my way. Unreal. That is another editoral rude people. they tend to make one just as rude too after they tick us off with their rudeness. This is one that can go on and on , we all have fast food horror tales, yet we still go to them. So sum up : check your food, plan to spend time waiting , and hope the food is packed correctly in the wrappers and cooked fully. The Fish Lady |

One perk was OPEN 24/7 GO FISH OPENS IN MAY TILL END OF JULY , Then Backs it down to midnight, as kids are needing to get back into Sleeping patterns again. Another Perk Buy it by the Pound! Go Fish was the 1st to offer that! Larger slection of Bait, again GO FISH offers that! This brings a word to mind PREMIER : used as a adjective : Leading , The WORD was created for GO FISH don't you Think. It's A shame when some misuse words. but the word is used right when applied to GO FISH. Others copy, GO FISH LEADS : Hence : Its The only Premier Bait Shop in the Tri State Now Lets go back to the Buy it by the Pound too !, Go Fish offered it as the fishermen requested it. 1st in the area to do so. They soon realized that you didn't get alot of fish for your money If you like large fish you found , you would get about 7 fish, for $12 yet for $13.50 you would get a dozen. better deal : buy the dozen. Meduim Fish would get you an avg. pending size : 12 fish. Go Fish Sells A Dz. Med. for $10.25 again best buy is by the dozen BUT SMALL Fish there is your Buy it by the Pound Fish! Some claim 24 for an avg others 16 come guys can't your figure it out? Avg falls in the middle , it all DEPENDS on THE SIZE OF THE FISH! Just like if you get what GO FISH deem very small Goldfish , which are considered smalls other places, {you can buy them for $4.80 a dozen at Go Fish} but on the pound , I say you get about 24 - 28 , but beware these fish are small. Heck some guys use hooks bigger then these fish . Anyway if your looking for a Bait Shop that leads the way for the Fishermen the 1st TO come to mind is GO FISH!
